Abstract

In the talk, a certain scenario of potential Type II blowups of suitable weak solutions to the Navier-Stokes equations is considered. In particular, it is going to be stated necessary conditions of appearance of such blowups: existence of non-trivial ancient solutions to the Euler equations in a certain function space that comes from the specific scenario of Type II blowup. Absences of such a non-trivial solution excludes the corresponding scenario. Some examples are going to be discussed.
